Milestones Biography

1935  Born in Quebec, QC, Canada, on June 24, second child of a family of ten children.
1953  Graduated from College St. Maurice, St. Hyacinthe, QC - L.S.
1953  One year trip throughout the United States, Mexico and the Caribbean.
1954  University studies in Montreal, QC, Canada.
1960  Marriage to Dr. Claude Langlois in Montreal, QC.
1961  Move to Buffalo, NY for a period of two years and a half. Studies at the Allbright Museum in Buffalo throughout this period.
1962  Birth of son Michel on February 11.
1963  Birth of daughter Genevieve on March 18, followed by a move to Paris, France.
1964  While residing in Paris, extensive trips throughout neighbouring European countries.
1965  First encounter, followed by years of studies, with Frere Jerome, student of Paul-Emile Borduas. First of yearly exhibitions at College Notre-Dame, Montreal, QC.
1966  First solo exhibition at Gallery Bonsecours, Montreal, QC.
1967  Exhibition at Expo 1967, in conjunction with University of Quebec, Montreal, QC.
1972  Exhibitions in Montreal at Maison de l'Iran, University of Montreal (solo), as well as University of Laval (solo).
1974  Stay at the Mt. Baldy ZEN Center, CA.
1980  Voyage to Japan, visiting museums and monasteries in Tokio and Kyoto.
1986  Foundation of "La Maison ZEN", dedicated to the teachings of Zen and Tai-Chi, Westmount, QC.
1987  First edition of "ZEN", magazine issued by La Maison ZEN.
1987  Black belt in Carate - Kyokushinkai.
1988  Specialty Diver licence as Ice Diver.
1989  Certified Rescue Scuba Diver.
